The Air-Pak™ X3 Pro SCBA is built on a foundation of redundant safety features, providing unparalleled performance to protect the family of firefighters who expect the best in the most demanding conditions, with a focus on enhancing Cleanability, Comfort, and Connectivity to ensure the security and comfort of today’s firefighter.
New Harness Materials offer greater resistance to chemical and water absorption to help minimize contamination.
Easy-to-Remove Harness allows for cleaning and decontamination after use to help minimize firefighter exposure.
New Shoulder Harness Design improves the ease of donning and minimizes pressure points to help reduce user fatigue and improve comfort.
Natural Articulation of the waist pad promotes greater range of motion to the user, while transferring weight to the hips for a more balanced load.
New Buckle Design provides firm hold to prevent inadvertent loosening of shoulder and waist straps, maintaining a secure fit of the Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA on the firefighter
Superior Breathability offers minimal breathing resistance to help reduce user burden and improve operational efficiencies.
Redundant Safety Features afford firefighters peace of mind knowing that the Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA is going to perform in the toughest environments.
Reflective Webbing delivers heightened visibility of the SCBA when operating in low light conditions, improving safety and accountability on the fireground.
Offering enhanced electronics with Bluetooth® technology, the Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA supports wireless connectivity between devices for improved configurability, data transmission/retrieval, firefighter safety and fireground accountability.
Electronic PAR (ePAR) provides wireless, bi-directional communication between the firefighter and incident command (using Scott Connect Monitor Pro) to help improve fireground accountability and communications.
System Integrity Alarm provides visual and audible alerts to notify the Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA wearer and Incident command (using Scott Connect Monitor Pro) of impending electronics degradation due to elevated temperature.
High Flow Alarm provides visual and audible alerts (using Scott Connect Monitor Pro) to notify Incident command (I/C) of a high flow condition from a firefighter’s Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA during a full-alarm PASS activation (i.e. heavy breathing, free flow, etc.).
No Flow Alarm provides visual and audible alerts (using Scott Connect Monitor Pro) to notify Incident command (I/C) of a no flow condition from a firefighter’s Air-Pak X3 Pro SCBA during a full-alarm PASS activation.
Integrated RFID tags provide local storage of SCBA information that can be wirelessly interrogated for asset tracking.
Inspecting and testing your 3M Scott equipment just got smarter. The Service and Asset Management solution (SAM) from Scott Safety utilizes mobile devices and tablets to perform and record inspection and testing of Scott Safety SCBA, cylinders, and facepieces, enabling seamless data collection. For the firefighter, inspections are quicker and easier; for the fire officer, all records are stored electronically and one click away.
The software maintains compliance to NFPA 1852 and OSHA 1910.134 regulatory standards and is cloud-based, meaning the data is stored online and notifications are instantly sent to an Authorized Service Center.
The SAM interface is user-friendly, the software doesn’t need to be installed or maintained, and online reports allow you to track the location for all SCBA, cylinders, and facepieces in fleet. The SAM experience is superior to the paper method, eliminating waste, maximizing SCBA utility, automating out-of-service notifications, and is a complete inspection and testing solution.
Cloud-based solution requires minimal IT involvement, no server or dedicated hardware required
Intuitive application minimizes training effort, feels like playing a game on an iPad but with a purpose
Provides visibility to equipment costs (budgeting/forecasting)
Eliminates the need to archive stacks of paper
Perform inspections using your everyday mobile device
Inspections are completed accurately and on time
Real-time status of the equipment
Know that firefighters are safe with the equipment being used
Confidence that department is compliant to applicable regulatory standards
Scott Connect Monitor
Scott Connect Monitor puts critical real-time responder SCBA information at incident command’s fingertips. Designed for use on modern, touch enabled PCs, this easy-to-understand air management solution allows the company officer or team leader to see air, PASS and EVAC data available while establishing and maintaining command. Monitor’s automated design complements existing accountability and incident command SOGs without the burden of additional work.
Works with all 3M Scott Air-Pak SCBA equipped with SEMS II, including Air-Pak X3, Air-Pak 75, and Air-Pak NxG7.
Automatic acceptance of devices means devices are monitored from the moment they connect to the base station.
Alert view lets you immediately hone in on alarms, ensuring quick recognition of the most critical information.
Touch-friendly interface greatly enhances the usability of the application in fireground environments.
When you wear Scott Sight, you get more than constant thermal vision. You get your hands back. That’s because unlike other hand held thermal imaging cameras, Scott Sight combines a camera with a display in the face piece without the need for reaching down and lifting a camera up. Firefighters now have both hands free for effective communication, victim extraction and carrying tools.
Firefighters have used hand-held thermal imaging cameras since the 1990s to see through the thick smoke often encountered during fires. Advancements in thermal imaging technology have now reduced the size of the components and enabled new applications. Scott Sight’s revolutionary design integrates a lightweight camera and display in the firefighter’s mask, keeping the thermal image in view at all times.
Scott Sight Mobile Configuration Application Available for download on IOS or Android – Configures IMD to customize brightness, icon layouts, temperature displays and display colors.
