In this presentation we will explore how you can take the first steps into how you can learn to manage your business and not have your business manage you. Some of the things we will touch on are cash flow, the parts of your business and how all those “numbers” play the most important role in your business.
About Scott:
Scott established It Figures Tax Services Inc in 2003. Scott is an Enrolled Agent* and graduated college with a BS in Accounting and Management. He has worked with a wide variety of clients such as landscapers, restaurants, contractors, dental & medical office, attorneys, churches/non-profits, and more.
Prior to opening It Figures Tax Services, Scott held positions as a staff accountant and controller for a BioTech company, utility management company, and a manufacturing plant. From 2003-2008, he opened, owned and operated a retail store. That venture provided him with hands-on experience with operating a small business and in turn uses that in-depth experience to help his clients run their business.
Scott spends about 50 hours a year attending various conferences and round tables that keeps him on the “leading edge” of the ever-changing tax laws and various problems and techniques on helping business owners solving their business problems.
Local clients benefit from Scott’s compassion, out of the box thinking to problem-solving, great working relationship with other business owners and resources, and many years of experience as a small business owner.
He currently lives with his husband, two boys, 40 chickens and 2 cats in Stow. When not working, he enjoys reading, swimming, kickboxing, and anything outdoors.

About Marcie:
Marcie is the owner of Sunschein Photography, which creates portraits of individuals who are developmentally, physically, or otherwise disabled, and their families and friends. Sunschein Photography also captures day-to-day activity for organizations that provide educational, residential, vocational, and day habilitation services to people with disabilities.
Marcie has a Master’s degree in Child Development and has worked in various capacities with children and adults with disabilities, and their families.
She also has a son who is medically complex and very challenging to photograph. She
understands how frustrating it is to try to get great photos of someone who requires assistance for every part of daily life.
About Missy:
Based in Somerset, MA, Honey & Hyssop Creative Photography was born when Missy's lifelong love of photography collided with a new awareness that special needs families did not typically have family photos taken. After working with the special needs community as an Occupational Therapist in the hospital Neonatal Intensive Care unit, as well as with babies and toddlers in early intervention, it became evident that there was a need to fill! Combining photography with this special developmental skillset, Honey & Hyssop focuses on Newborn and first year photography to help these amazing families shine!

About Rachel:
Dr. Rachel Smook is a licensed psychologist with graduate degrees in clinical psychology from Loyola University and William James College and a postdoctoral fellowship from Harvard University. She has been in the field for her entire adult life and has had a private practice for seventeen years.
She is a co-author of the 2005 edition of Our Bodies, Ourselves, which now has over four million copies in print around the world. She is also the author of a chapter in the Handbook of Private Practice, published by Oxford University Press.
Rachel has held leadership and governance roles in several divisions of the American
Psychological Association and was a contributing editor for the APA's Psychotherapy Bulletin for several years.
Her clinical work addresses a wide range of psychological concerns for adolescents and adults, and she spends much of her clinical time providing care to doctors, nurses, and other therapists, as they navigate the challenges of frontline medical care.

About Gary Hughes
As the child of photographer parents, it is ironic that Gary Hughes's professional life included everything but photography until life led him back to the path for which he was ultimately destined, photographer.
In 2008, he and his wife, Julie, founded Hughes Fioretti Photography, and, in the years since, have grown their business by making a name for themselves as THE place to get headshots in Central Florida.
Aside from running a studio in Winter Park, FL, Gary is also in demand as a photography educator and travels often, teaching his methods to photographers all over the world.
His main focus as an instructor is to empower photographers to create the type of business that sets them free to live the kind of life they want.
Gary’s work has been featured in publications like Forbes, Rolling Stone, and Guitar World, while his educational articles have appeared in Professional Photographer, PetaPixel, Huffington Post, and Canon Learning.
